Scheduling

One boost to SMU's schedule may be playing exempt tourny's. NCAA regs allow a school to partake in 2 exempt (multiple game tournaments that count as 1 game on the schedule), and 1 foreign (summer) tour in a four year period. There is something like 43 exempt tournaments out there. Most 4 team (2 game) others, like the Pre-NIT, Maui, and the Great Alaska Shoutout, 8 team (3 or 4 games)

I agree with that, that is a good idea. But it seems in the past that Dement is afraid to schedule tough games, especially early in the season. But he did show some hope with Tennessee this year.
