Has Turner said when he's making his decision? Seems basketball is more relaxed on signing period, because isn't signing day on Wednesday?

Jordan Brand Classic is Friday night. Myles is on the same team as E-man. I can't think of a better scenario for SMU than putting him on the court with his potential teammate right before he makes his choice.

Love to have him, but I don't want to get too excited about the possibility knowing that he has great options from which to choose and that both he and SMU will do well next year, no matter what choice he makes.

If Myles comes to the Hilltop there will threads on "Who, if anyone, transfers out?" and "Should Tolbert redshirt even if eligible?"

If he goes elsewhere, get out of the way of the "Who gets the last scholly" threads.

I'm thinking about launching a discussion on "The #3, Small Forward or Large Guard?"

He is waiting on the WDNWHA Committee before he will announce. We will notify him personally and privately of our decision when made and then he will be able to make an announcement at his time of choosing. Again, our decision should be made in the Friday range.

Should we watch for black smoke rising out of Dallas Hall? How will we know when the committee has reached a decision?

You will know we have made our decision when Turner announces his. We do not like to grab the limelight. We have always allowed the player to make his announcement first and will continue that tradition.

No we do not. That could lead to leaks in our complex process.

I do not know what this WDHNWZR...etc... Committee is, but if Myles Turner ends up at SMU I imagine people will want to know more about it. Haha

if he signs I look forward to threads about whether he should be switched to a point guard or not.

I look forward to threads saying that Turner didn't sign with us because Larry didn't play YM enough.
