American Athletic Conference men's basketball tournament coming to Hartford in 2015.

Would have preferred Memphis or Philly or pretty much anywhere else besides Hartford.

I've got relatives in Old Lyme, about 45 mins away. So I'm good with Hartford.

Why in the heck are they doing the conference tournament in Connecticut? It's in the farthest corner of the country.
Could they not have done it in Orlando or Tampa where it is usually nicer in winter?

Most of our conference is in the south...

Take a look at where the AAC's headquaters is located. Makes it easy for their staff.

Maybe because UConn is the defending national champion and the AAC is trying to do everything in their power to keep them happy? Makes sense to me.

I think they may be doing UConn a solid, yeah.

There is no reason it shouldn't be in Memphis every year. The set up was fantastic.

warmer is better

plus I see no reason to give UConn too much home court.

Home court cannot protect UConn from the 15 point beatdown we will give them.

ESPN headquarters are in Bristol...real close to Hartford. Looks like the AAC wants to put up a show! 8)

I decided a while back to go to the AAC tourney next season. I've got a question for those familiar with the area - is it crazy to try to stay in NYC and get to Storrs via train? Too far?
