Rather than comment on Manning's WFU thread, I thought I'd start a new thread for Jankovich. With all the great things Brown and his recruiters have done, his name isn't posted on here much. Below is a tweet about him from today.

Jankovich has the best job in college basketball.

Learning from the best and collecting a very healthy pay check with no head coach pressure.

I really hope Tulsa makes a good hire. It is very important for TU and for the AAC.

I sure thought Stan Heath could have gotten Arkansas on the right track with one more year. He might be worth a shot.

Another big opening just came on the market with Cuonzo Martin leaving Tennessee for Cal

I am surprised by that move. Both Cal and Tennessee were big jobs so it's not like an additional big opening came up but one was filled and the other took it's place.

Cuonzo wasnt happy at UT I dont think- their fans had started a petition to have him fired back in January

Funny though that you might be able to argue that TU is currently the better job considering conference affiliation and history. How crazy is that???

NorCal > Knoxville

And it's not even close.

I was referring to Tulsa being a better job than Tennessee.

Money, fan support and history are better at Tennessee. Conference affiliation might be a push since Louisville is leaving the AAC.

The petition was created so that they could hire Bruce Pearl. That is what the fans wanted. Of course, now they have to compete with Bruce.

Tennessee is a much better job than Cal IMO. Much better facilities and more TV exposure being in the SEC. I think MArtin was tired of living in Bruce Pearl's shadow there

We're in the better basketball conference, there's less pressure at Tulsa, and both have similar history of success.
