Gonzaga replaces one of the Louisville games. We still need to replace the other LOU game, and the A&M game to get where we were last year. If we want to upgrade the schedule, we need even more than that.

Thus far:
Gonzaga = LOU
Ark = Ark
Indiana > Wyoming
NC State < UVA

Still to go:
???=A&M
??? = @ LOU

The Tulsa add will help and is an upgrade over Rutgers though.

I want to schedule SFA and would settle for neutral site w/ Baylor. Wouldn't mind playing a much improved A$M, either.

ECU and Tulane are worse than Rutgers RPI wise. 216 and 223 versus 192.

Tulsa came in at 73, so they're a decent add, but the bottom of the conference just got ever worse than it was before while the top got worse with Louisville leaving.

We need to add AT LEAST two other solid OOC opponents. Don't get football syndrome here guys. We shouldn't be afraid to play good teams anymore, but should instead embrace it. Now do I want the schedule Kansas had last year? No, but it needs to be solid. No more Hofstras

He's moved quickly to improve our OOC after what happened this year. Can we please stop calling him Casper? I'm directing that at the minority that does.

Good point, we're going to need to compensate for a weakened AAC slate. 12 teams in conference with only 18 conference games means we might not play each of the brand teams twice (UConn, Memphis, Cincy).

*11 team conference. Navy joins for football only and not until 2015, which is good because they suck at bball.

So are there going to be 2 teams we only play once?

I thought the Committee looks at Top 50 and 50-100. What good does playing more 100-150 teams other than I guess its better than sub 200 teams that brought our schedule down. You can't really count on all these teams being as good as look like on paper-see Temple, A$M, Arkansas. I think we need some 50-100 teams

Gonzaga is not firm yet. And add me to the list who want us in a good pre-season tourney. I'll take the NIT for purely selfish reasons!

I tweeted to Hart we needed to ignore the big name schools who have no interest in home-and-homes with us and go after the Gonzaga, Wichita St, VCU, UMass schools. Hope we get a couple of more!
