Steve Davis reported recently in the Morning News that WillieD, having failed in his bid to earn a spot with the Mavs and Rockets, has headed to Europe. Any idea what country he's playing in? What kind of contract he got?

Willie D is still in the States playing in tournaments hoping to get a shot with an NBA summer league outfit. He has offers to go to Europe, but has been tearing it up on the court and in the weight roon this summer. Wherever he winds up, he wants to prove that he can play with the best players in the world. Remember, he played out of position his entire SMU career.
