SMU Women’s Basketball Announces Summer Camp Dates

DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU Mustangs women's basketball team has announced its 2014 summer camp schedule. Two camp options are available - the Elite Camp for individuals, and the Team Camp for high school squads.

The Elite Camp is open to all players entering ninth-12th grade and begin June 22. The camp is designed for individuals that wish to experience a high-intensity cam that challenges athletes both mentally and physically. All Elite Camp participants will receive a free t-shirt.

The Team Camp will guarantee all participants at least four games, depending on the number of teams registered. The camp will take place June 20-21, with the first games starting at 9 a.m. and the final games beginning at 8 p.m.

Both camps will be hosted at the newly-renovated Moody Coliseum at the Crum Basketball Center. The SMU coaching staff boasts more than 80 years of combined coaching experience, including nine 20-win seasons and 13 postseason appearances. The second-longest active-tenured staff in women's basketball has also coached three Player of the Year award winners, and 19 different players who earned all-conference selections.
