Virginia Tech transfer Ben Emelogu to SMU

Virginia Tech transfer Ben Emelogu has committed to SMU, he told CBSSports.com on Monday morning.

The 6-5 guard averaged 10.5 points last season for the Hokies and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Emelogu must sit out next season and will be eligible beginning in the 2015-16 season.

Rivals shows that he had offers from TCU, Marquette and Washington. My guess is LB talked to him but didn't offer because Emelogu was strong with VT.
