Can Ponies pull the upset tonight?

Unfortunately, not much of a chance. They beat FSU and killed La Tech...UNLESS they can play 2 FULL halves instead of 1. Hawaii hits their 3 pointers and SMU doesnt defend the 3pt well - I hope I am wrong -Bows by 10-12pts.

We played them tough and if not for some fantasic 3 point shooting, the 'bows go down. The three frosh stood up tonite, something like 15-18 from the floor. Got to get back on the winning track against Rice and then lie in wait in Moody for the rematch.

Right on
That three-point shooting won the game for the 'Bows, and even then, it's not like it was a blowout. This might actually be a good thing, because our team is so young, maybe it's good to show that even when you play well, there's no guarantee that you'll win every time out. Maybe this game will inspire the young guys to spend and extra 5 minutes shooting after practice, or to do one more set in the weight room, or spend a little more time watching tape. This is the kind of game that shows that even a talented team needs to sacrifice and work very hard to win conference games.
