I have seen Gerald Ford and Lamar Hunt at several basketball games this year. I don't recall seeing them around basketball that much the past couple of years. I am wondering if they are just becoming interested in the game or if they are observing a program that seems to not make it over the post season birth hump?

Just a thought.

Ponies to the NCAA Tourney in 2002!

Actually, Lamar Hunt is one of the biggest hoops fans around. He has been a regular attendee at games, even on Saturday nights when the Chiefs have a Sunday afternoon game in KC.

As for Gerald Ford, it is nice to see him, mon.

Lamar Hunt even came out to the WAC tourney when it was in Vegas and I was living out there. Had a couple of nice chats with him, which, since I'm from KC as well as an SMU junkie, was great.

I've seen Lamar Hunt and Gerald Ford at almost every game this year. They're great fans and supporters.

Ryan Berube, former Olympic gold medalist, is also at all the games. His season tickets are right behind me.

Didn't realize Berube comes to every game. I'll look for him next time.

when I lived in Dallas, Bob Begert was a regular for the bball games. Does he still come out?

Doesn't Rick Cowart (the former offensive lineman and big-time car dealer) come to every game, too?
