Rothstein with some love for Nic

Postby LA_Mustang » Mon Aug 04, 2014 9:22 am

“@JonRothstein: One of the least appreciated players in college basketball? SMU's Nic Moore. Averaged 13.6 PPG, 4.9 APG, 43.6% from 3. Could be AAC POY.”

“@JonRothstein: Another SMU nugget. Mustangs are only program in AAC to return all-league players and they've got two --- Nic Moore and Marcus Kennedy.”

Tweeted out another write up on Nic...

“@JonRothstein: Nic Moore, Oregon's 2014 class, and why no one knows what to expect from Arizona State. Observations @CBSSports http://cbsprt.co/1q70rVZ”

Great pub for Nic - he deserves it.

Does anyone remember Butch Moore? He was my favorite player in the Koncak years and Nic reminds me of Butch.

Butch was a great floor general. He was a great passer, but still could shoot lights out. He did everything well. While Koncak and Wright were the stars of the team, it was Butch Moore that made it go. Seems the same with Nic - though he is starting to get the recognition he has earned.
