Good question. I'm not how they do it. If I remember correctly the CBB Gameday is Saturday morning 9am-11am CST. Since our student body is small, I'm sure alums will be allowed. My guess is they'll let anyone in until they reach capacity.

If anyone doubts the value of the AAC TV contact, consider that 22 SMU basketball games will be on the CBS/ESPN family of networks. You cannot put a value on that kind of exposure.

Quick thoughts:

- Going @ Cinci vs. Memphis in first 2/3 games will be tough (yes I know cinci will be down, but still a tough place to play).

- After Memphis, we've got 7 fairly easy games (e.g. should win 6+ - loss at an improved Temple squad)

-COLLEGE GAME DAY AT MOODY vs. UCONN, vs Temple, @ Memphis, @UCONN stretch will be out most difficult 3 weeks, but plenty of rest in between (week off between Temple and Fightin' Ribs of Memphis).

No I am not 100% positive, but 9P est on ESPN on Saturday night is generally reserved for the Gameday slot. Just put 2 & 2 together to get GAMEDAY. With that said I am 95% sure - they schedule the games months in advance (unlike CFB gameday).

How are more people not losing their minds right now?!

Billy Embody, Mark Norris and I had a Twitter convo meltdown.

The growth of SMU Basketball is still hard to comprehend. The way Dallas and national broadcasters have responded to SMU's performance is only going to further strengthen LB's ability to grab elite talent.

Noticed we have the Gonzaga (ESPN2), Arkansas (ESPNNews), Wyoming (ESPNNews), and Michigan (ESPN2) games also set for air. What are the odds the Indiana game gets picked up nationally?
