I don't think that is necessarily bad news. With Martin playing next year, we should be ok. Having Tolbert for the following year will be a great asset.

No, this sucks. Who replaces Shawn Williams? Most under-rated player on the team last year. No one else replaces him unless you say it's Ben Moore, which could be the case.

I kind of like the Cunningham Kennedy front court.

You mean Ben Moore since they play the same position?

Not the worst news, notice in the article he was first-team Academic All Big 12 in 2013, congrats to him. Now his handwork in academics can get him a degree worth more than the paper it is printed on.

I'm happy about this decision. We are so depth in the front court this year, so there's only so many minutes with MK, YM, CC and BM.

Losing 3 of those guys will open up ample time for Jordan to contribute next year. I like that LB is not being short-sighted and building teams for down the road.

I think by LB redshirting him that we could be trying to make a run at the national championship in 2015. If Emelogu isn't declared eligible it may hurt this year but next year we could be loaded depending on how recruiting goes. I think we are just trying to get to the dance this year and make a little noise. Next year we go for the whole enchilada.
