Number one because it's on the wrong board. This is not recruiting. Number two there is already a thread or six on said board. Number three, it's doesn't exactly help recruiting to post huge headlines on who we lost out on.

Not insane at all. Read my post in the Tyler Davis thread. Avery Jr. and DJ are very, very, very close. As soon as Tyler committed to A & M, it was a foregone conclusion that DJ would too. I asked if it would have been worth it to use a scholarship on Avery Jr. if we knew it would get us his teammates. I still think the answer is yes. SMU thought they could get him to walk-on though.

You're making it seem like they valued either Hogg or Davis over other prospects. Its wasn't about offering Avery,it was about spending way more time on fat Elijah and other kids

I'd still gladly take Elijah and Gilder, but with the amount of spots we had to fill, SMU would've been thrilled to get Hogg and Davis. As would I. There would've been room for all of them, alas, that was just a pipe dream.
