First practice

Schools can begin practice 42 days prior to the first game of the season. I'm not sure if that is 42 days prior to the school's first game or college basketball's first game? Using our first game, we can open practice 10/3 - 2 weeks from Friday. It's getting close. I hope we have an open practice one day for fans.
