CNNSI lists its top 50 national prospects (a list created, apparently, by TheInsidersHoops.com), and there are a few Texans on the list. Maybe Coleman Crawford and Robert Brickey can help bring a couple to Dallas?

Everything I hear is that Ebi is heading to OU. Coach Tubbs is going to look like a hero in Norman if he lands that kid.

Perkins is a monster. A lot of people are saying he's going to skip college and go straight to the NBA, and that he could have as much immediate success as a pro as anyone since Garnett and Kobe. That's a lot to ask, but he's an incredibly strong player.

Minor is way too short to play shooting guard. If he doesn't learn how to handle the ball and run an offense from the point, he won't amount to much in college unless he grows another 6+ inches.

Supposedly we are in the running, at least in the early stages of recruiting, for Martin. Keep your fingers crossed.

Perkins' stock has slipped somewhat. He's skipping the summer camps to focus on the pro game. Alton Ford's stock slipped a little during his senior summer so maybe this is insurance for KP. Alton was the ABCD MVP before his jr. year.

Perkins reportedly likes UNC and UT but, yes, he'll be another Eddy Curry (at least that he'll be going pro out of h.s. and committed to a college for fun). Kendrick needs to work on his aggressiveness to succeed in the show but he has the physical tools.
