2002-03 WAC basketball schedule announced
Mustangs featured four times

DENVER (WAC) - The SMU Mustangs will be featured in four WAC television broadcasts according to the Western Athletic Conference men's and women's basketball television schedule announced by WAC Commissioner Karl Benson today. The schedule is a combination of at least 15 games that will be telecast by both Fox Sports Net and ESPN2.

On the men's side, SMU will be featured in its Jan. 23 game at Rice and the Feb. 8 home contest versus Hawaii. The SMU women's squad will be shown Jan. 4 when the Mustangs host La. Tech and when they travels to Rice Feb. 22.

"This year's basketball season should be another exciting campaign for the WAC," said Benson. "We have several outstanding teams, and this television package gives our fans and the rest of the nation numerous chances to witness the high level of basketball played in the Western Athletic Conference."
