was anyone else surprised we have a new radio voice for basketball? Paper said Josh Lewin, the Rangers voice is the new play by play. Apparently he used to do Michigan State basketball too. Anybody know who the color guy will be? Hatchett, Terrell, or Stone? Rotating?

That is interesting news...not sure I like the new Rangers guy really. I thought the old guys did a good job.

I heard that last month but dismissed it as a rumor. Josh Lewin is big-time. The guy is knowledgeable and entertaining. I'm not sure how we pulled this one off but it’s a great move. And by the way, he is great as the Rangers announcer also.

he is definitely a pro. Will bring some polish to the broadcasts, although I always liked Stone as he seems to sincerely like the Ponies.

The color analyst is Jay Poerner. All in the family (he's married to Dana Larsen of FoxSW fame.)

I've always liked Josh Lewin. When I heard about him getting the job, I was very pleased. Maybe he'll get an occasional word in about us during the many Texas Rangers broadcasts he does with Tom Grieve. It's funny, but there seemed to be a real love/hate reaction to Lewin's first year with the Texas Rangers. But I like him a lot.
