the roster everyone loves so much right now was built almost entirely from transfers (Kennedy, Moore, Moreira, JMart, Ben E. & Tolbert)

...along with some under the radar recruits like Ben Moore and Sterling Brown...

...and some role players from Doherty era.

Moreira was a JC recruit not a transfer. Ben and Sterling really were not under the radar recruits and they were both finalists for Mr Basketball in Illinois as well as top 150 players. I hope at the least we can get more players like them.

I'm sorry - I label Jucos as transfers because you are not recruiting them directly from high school...

You are right about "under the radar" though - both Moore and Brown had B10 and SEC offers. I only meant as compared to Frazier, Mudiay...5 star type players comparable to Elijah

Agree they never know and half of the predictions are from a long time ago. That said as an SMU fan i think it is 100% we do not get any of our targets. I think it is time to re-designate this thread as the PANIC thread for recruiting.

More like 1 day before. Like Hoopmanx said that about 24-48 hours before the announcement they are pretty accurate.

I think it is a bit early for that. I'll start to get concerned when we aren't getting any quality recruits/transfers/juco and it is still to early to tell.

They were testing today at Madison so he moved it to Thursday.
