For those fans that have been around longer than me (2006), when was the last time we were ranked in the top 25 in the preseason? '91/'92/'93?

perhaps, but with a program with their historical resources, it says a lot. we started with nothing. they didn't. maybe they will but I don't think they will be better than LSU. At the end of the day, they're not there now.

We just need to have a good showing against Gonzaga and IU etc.

I don't give a crap about Texas A&M. It's been a good week.

Who cares if you don't give a crap about A&M. It has been a decent week but we still need a big. Did you play any sports at all?

I'm with you that we need help at the 4/5 but we still have options - Thomas, McDuffie, JUCO and 2016. The fact that Tolbert will be around next season is huge. I guess it is uncertain if Markus will return for his senior season but we could add a JUCO big and McDuffie to Tolbert and Ben Moore. I think we get McDuffie as he visits next weekend. If we don't get Thomas I'm sure the staff will focus on a true big in the 2016 class.

Marques Bolden is the big to go after in 2016. Think he and A$AP Ferg might be a package deal..

Again, McDuffie is not a big. He is a tweener with 3 skills. And we don't know if he grows any taller than 6'7.

Okay. I've never seen him play so I don't have an opinion with the confidence you seem to have. I've been told by an analyst that they could see him growing into a PF and still adding a few inches, but who knows.

And again, I'll trust LB. I've absolutely no reason not to.

I read that as well. I guess he could grow a couple of inches but that is the chance we will have to take if we don't get the JC center. I just don't think it is good that it has come down to this.

Has nothing to do with trusting in him. I think he is doing as well as he can but we could not get the freshman class that he probably wanted. Again, we will be to get a body to fill in a gap and that will help us in being competitive in the AAC but it will not help in the goal Coach Brown has set for winning a national championship.
