Quick update on practice:

KEEEEEEEEEEITH: hit two or three 3's and looked solid doing it. Didn't appear to have any mental mistakes which is what may have kept him off the floor last year.

1 of 2 things happened: Our team D is really really really good, especially in the post, or we just can't make layups. My money is on the first possibility. Thought we looked long and athletic almost across the board.

Ben Moore did play a few possessions of the point guard role, but more in a fast break situation rather than a half court setting. This could be a real advantage to us in having another potential outlet man aside from Nic that can start the break. Tempo up and down the court seemed to be stressed in that players didn't even have to take the ball out (or even close) on a missed basket. Get the board, hit an outlet immediately, and let's run...was great to see.

Emelogu played but didn't really flash (practice was only an hour). Markus did practice and looked solid as usual. Yanick looked much healthier and more confident. Larry had all of the players introduce themselves and he talked up Yanick for his 38 point performance for Angola. Great to see him building momentum into the season. He will be much needed especially if markus is out.

Justin Martin is going to have a huge impact on this team. He can shoot, pass, defend and he plays smart. Such a great addition.
