@reb Yes, I think it's fair to say we could have landed at least one of the locals, but AJj played Pied Piper and pulled them. It happens.

The class is looking good. Frankly, the only thing I'm bummed about is the signaling that Nic won't be back next year. I've made my peace that MK won't be back, but Nic...dang.

Ever since the start of this football season and the apocalypse on the field, Rebel has become a little unstable. His posts before were never as weird as they have been the last month or two. Having said that, I will take him any day over the likes of footballdad. I thought we had gotten rid of him after he didn't post for four days after the Cincinnati game.

Stupid thread........Every kid we chase is visiting other schools that have big time atmosphere. Our atmosphere is awesome but it is just a check on the list to these kids and their handlers. We have a great class in the making who are going to be coached by a legend. I am good with that.

And this local angle, go look at any of the highly ranked schools. Kentucky - 13 kids from out of state, Tarheels - 1/2 the roster from out of state, Arizona - no one is from the state, Duke has 1 instate player, Indiana for crying out loud has 9 out of state players. You go get players that fit your system wherever they are. Give this local angle crap up.

And I would put the odds at 95% that one of those kids' handlers that fell for the Aggie sales pitch will quietly be inquiring about transferring here by the end of the 2015 season.

Rebel10/ft5 on rivals/bowl4us on scout...all the same poster with same terrible threads and most posts have no content whatsoever.
