When RM dunked against Lamar, he looked like he lacked the usual bounce. Is he half injured?

I agree with MFFL on this OP.

The most effective offenses these days use the spot up 3 effectively..
Do it well and you get the extra point on the shot and it spreads the court, making the whole offense inside and out work better.

Look at the Spurs and Mavs for confirmation.

And with the 3 point line in close in college, I believe it makes it even easier for teams to pack their
Defenses in if you are not a 3 point threat.
Beat the hell out of anybody!
