If Tony Romo Is Kind Enough To Watch Us Again

Postby StallionsModelT » Mon Dec 15, 2014 12:17 am

And you MFers boo then you are the epitome of [deleted]. Dude is about as gracious and nice a guy as you'll ever meet. Oh yeah. He's having probably the best year of his career at age 34 with broken bones in his back and taking pain injections before every game.

I don't care if you're not a Cowboys fan. If this dude is willing to spend his free time cheering for SMU in any capacity and he gets boo'ed he should literally flip off the entire arena and never come back. Give the man some credit. He's the starting quarterback for America's Team and playing at a Top 5 QB level. Embrace those that want to embrace us and not act like tools.

Nobody booed him at the WYO game. But none the less, it was extremely embarrassing when he was booed during the NIT games.

SMT, I'm all for our students being drunk and belligerent, general fans, too, but if a local celeb is going out of their way to support us we should embrace them wholeheartedly. Anyone who booes him shoud be ashamed.

Yes, quite a few people did at the Wyoming game.

The Boo's were very apparent at the WYO game. I'd say 30% of the noise made. It's just the cool thing to do to boo Romo, the 3rd or 4th best qb in franchise history.

his stats have been impressive but he also has the best O-line in the NFL in front of him.

That said, I agree with you. If we wanna be "Dallas' Team" then we should welcome all dallas athletes/celebs

How did it workout for the O-line the one game Romo didn't play?

I definitely agree he should not be booed, but remember a lot of students are from out of state or Houston and are just applying their NFL loyalties.

You are beyond stupid if you think no one was booing him at the Wyoming game. I was standing in the concourse area and that there was a technical on Larry Brown or something. Disgusting.

The guy clearly loves watching SMU basketball and has spoken openly about how he's rooting for us. Some of you literally suck at life.

The boos were not too obvious because I did not hear them, but I am also on the second to last row in Moody.
