They are in not looking good at all. They have lost their last 7 straight games and are w/out their leading scorer. It will be very embarassing if we lose to these guys.
It looks like their best scorer right now is Brandon Hawkins. (28pts vs UTEP)

San Jose State (3-9, 0-2)

Leading scorer and rebounder Oudie Baker probably won't return to the team, coach Phil Johnson said. Baker, who has played in seven games, got in hot water for returning late following the holiday break and "hasn't shown a strong enough desire to rejoin the team," Johnson said.

Minus Baker, San Jose is 0-4 and starts two walk-ons. Johnson said Baker needs the Spartans more than vice versa. Johnson said Baker is a young man "that really needs direction and this is really his best hope in life is to be here and be in school and be around a team that will watch him and help him."

SJSU may be without their 2nd leading scorer, as well. Keith West played just 6 minutes last night, he might be hurt.
Some will tell you that a glass is half empty, and others that the same glass is half full. But all CPC really wants to know is...... does the drink taste good?
