I don't think they were worse than Lamar. I think they were better.

Frasier was outstanding.

Martin is coming around and really looked great in the first half. Would have seen more time in the second but Frasier was playing so well.

Manual actually took and made a jumper. First of the season? He is coming around.

Ben E looks lost offensively. So does Sterling Brown. We are going to need them to come around for us to play as well in conference as we should.

Ben Moore needs to find his offensive game as well. It is going to be really interesting to see what happens when MK comes back. I think we see a lot of point forward in conference with him at the top of the circle, and Nic and Keith opening up on the wings for three, Ryan flies in for the rebound but create space for MK and YM down low on the post. Use Ben's fantastic passing ability to open up the game, and he has such an advantage on his defender driving from outside, he is really hard to stop.

UIC shot very poorly. We gave up a lot of uncontested threes that were missed, and left some space down low. A better team would have punished us for that. As a whole though, the offense is moving smoother and we are doing a much, much better job getting out on the break on offense in transition.

Our margin of victory (21) was more than our turnovers (20). So we've got that going for us.

We had several turnovers while forcing turnovers. We slap the ball away, pick it up and have it slapped away by the other team. UIC played well defensively until their players got into foul trouble. We didn't have a lot of room to shoot. Our defense was awesome. Two turnovers on time. There were long stretches when UIC couldn't score. This is a team about to explode when MK gets back.

Last nite it was 2 assists down low that lead to easy buckets which started 3 straight possessions with an assist and easy basket. That was the start of the SMU second half run

One time Ben drove to the basket and tried to pass off and the ball was stolen. Camera went to LB and he was screaming "Ben, Ben, Ben Shoot. Shoot".
