I agree with all that's said. But one thing that still needs to improve drastically is 3 pt defense. We are still getting to the shooters way too late consistently. Michigan went ice cold or they would have beat us by 10. They weren't missing 3s because of our defense.

We can beat most teams in the AAC with that defense but we will get upset by 1 or 2 and not go very far in the NIT playing like that.

Tighten that up however, and we have a chance at the big tourney. Going to be fun (and stressful) the next few months. And I'm very happy with that! Now that we have a fball program again, I can almost spend the whole year distracted by SMU sports. :-) (FB season -> bball season -> FB spring training/game -> recruiting news- > repeat)

We went ice cold or we would've beaten them by 30.

If we would have made all of those contested layups we would have won by 30.

Of course had they made all of their 3s we would have lost by 30.

Since we scored more points during the allotted time, we won.

Ryan And Keith have been the inspirational leaders of this team to this point. Ryan hits the floor, rebounds, plays solid d and then every once in awhile has one of those stunning highlight reel plays. Keith pics everyone up: his teamates, the crowd, the refs, maybe even the beer vendors.

I always get the feeling that Keith isn't just a player out there, he is also a fan of the game who really enjoys good play by either team.
