My year and I indeed remember those uniforms. SMU won the SWC championship 1972.

Hope they make it a full on 70s retro night for the fans - just like they did for football with the 80s retro game. Award something for the student with the best 70s dress. Have some LB overalls pictures blown up for the crowd. 70s music for the breaks, etc.
