Would have loved the stripe on the collar/sleeves and the old school jersey cut..we just printed the SMU script and numbers on the front of our regular jerseys...just something to consider next time hopefully

Awesome idea, awesome for the guys, really stoked to see these on TV though!

SMU SID (or somebody claiming to be him...) on the ball as always getting the retro uniforms mentioned on Uni Watch today.

I am completely fine with with them making retro uniforms with modern jersey templates. Would love to see the actual striping pattern on jersey and shorts though. I think it looks weird when team's go retro with short shorts. But just my opinion.

Unless the 1972 uniform is worn (jerseys and shorts), it's not "retro". Otherwise, you're just sporting a "1972 SMU red script design on a white jersey" with 2015-style shorts. Why halfa$$ it?
I guess the Keith Frazier-style waistband roll-up would be acceptable for warm-ups and player introductions - then let'm down for tip-off.

they should put these pictures in a special retro intro. Crowd would go nuts for 70's LB

Hopefully, the Promo Powers-that-be are onto this. 70s LB on the program cover, white t-shirts with the script SMU give-aways - or at least for sale "cheap" in the foyer, State Farm name-that-tune with 70s challenges to the player participants, Bob Prewitt on the court for the introductions, 70s music from band and canned, Dress-Like-Larry Day for The MOB.... and so forth.

Other Ideas:

Recognize Ira Terrell - perhaps in photo montage

If he is at the game - get George W a supply of Coors Lights
