“@ScottSanford67: Correction: Foster hopes to be cleared by his doctors tmrw, but nothing is official yet. The North Shore wing has been rehabbing since July.”

“@jfo_umm: I won't be returning to high school basketball. I'm going to finish my rehab and get as strong as possible to be ready for college ball.”

Honestly this is better for SMU. I rather have him completely healthy and rusty than risk re injury.

I know very little about his injury/rehab situation, but I hope you're right .

I've torn both ACLs and it's a 6+ month rehab process. With rehab/drills, he should back fine. The biggest obstacle is mental. You're scared that cutting will lead to another tear.

Which is why I wish he was getting some live game action in before coming to us.

Honestly with my ACL tear and rebuild i didnt feel better till 12 months post. Now 15 months post i've run a half marathon and have started cutting a bit when I play basketball. The worst thing you can do for ACl recovery is rush.
