OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed SulaimonTransfer U?
I guess I'll take a wait and see as to what he did to get dismissed. "smupony94: Harry, you have been promoted to purveyor of official status capabilities."
Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed SulaimonCoach K: Sulaimon dismissed, remains in good academic standing, will finish semester. "unable to consistently live up to (Duke) standards."

Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed SulaimonThat's two players. Wonder if the NCAA will start an investigation? Ha.
Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed SulaimonBad teammate, notable excerpt:
'Last season the coaching staff talked to Sulaimon about his body language when things didn't go his way. He had specifically been called out for pouting and not celebrating his teammates while he was on the bench.' That being said, I'd take him in a heartbeat. Houston kid out of Strake Jesuit. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketb ... d-sulaimon
Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed Sulaimondon't think we need another guard
Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed SulaimonIf he has that kind of attitude it doesn't sound like he would fit in.
Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed SulaimonHis minutes have gone down each year he has been at Duke. Might be a situation where as he has lost minute (like because Duke is constantly bringing in good players) he developed a bad attitude. I'm not sure but if you get kicked off your team does that waive the year sit out period on transfers?
If he has a drug or alcohol problem that never resulted in an arrest but the team knows about it I would stay clear. If it is just a bad attitude problem, I'd let LB judge if e could turn that around. Of course here will be a tough place to get minutes for a guard next year.
Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed SulaimonProbably developed a bad attitude when his playing time started going downhill
Would be a great talent, but I don't know if it is worth it5 for him to sit out one year and only have one to play, especially with the talent we have coming in. But if he were to graduate... Year MPG PPG 2014-15 DUKE 19.3 7.5 2013-14 DUKE 25.6 9.9 2012-13 DUKE 29.2 11.6 Of course, if he comes in and doesn't get the minutes he wants, he could pull a Justin Martin "[College] referees couldn't manage a White Castle." -Mark Cuban
Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed SulaimonSemi would know if this is a good pursuit or not.
Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed Sulaimon
He can defend and flat out should the rock. He would be our second best guard on the team if he came. Don't think it would be hard for him to find minutes. "We will play man to man and we will pick you up at the airport." - Larry Brown

Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed Sulaimonwill be interesting to see whether he tries to goes pro or considers one more year in college after a RS season...possibly even coming home to Houston where be might be a big fish again?
Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed SulaimonDuke board is saying he sexually assaulted someone. Then one of the others said it was straight up rape.
Just rumors obviously.
Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed Sulaimon
Duke just loves rumors of rape and sexual assault, since those always end up being substantiated and corroborated down in their neck of the woods, right?!?
Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed SulaimonI love lacrosse
Re: OT: Duke has dismissed Rasheed Sulaimon
I don't think this is at all true. The more solid rumors are that he is a discipline and attitude problem, and whatever happened on the Notre Dame trip was in itself relatively minor but was simply the last straw.
