I kind of got off of road games after I had a boda bag of Southern Comfort poured over my head at Memorial Stadium in Austin. . .which was immediately followed by an offer of a fight that I would have quickly and decisively lost. And all of that for simply wearing the wrong school's T-shirt. I hadn't even exchanged words with the UT students responsible beforehand. It was completely out of the blue. I fortunately got out of that situation unharmed (except my ego), but it put me off road games.

That's why I almost exclusively go to road games

I'm not sure I'd know how to act at a home game. I'm pretty much always the charming and good- natured visiting [deleted].

I like my games, like I like posting, us against them. So much more seems at stake when we're away.

SMU will play in the 2015 Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic on December 22-23 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The 2015 field includes Colorado, Penn State, Kent State, Canisius, Louisiana Monroe, Nicholls State and Hampton.

So we'll play two of Canisius/Louisiana Monroe/Nicholls State/Hampton before heading to Vegas to play two of Colorado/Penn State/Kenn State.

This could affect our game

TCU basketball coach Trent Johnson says Texas rains may have pushed back moving into renovated Daniel-Meyer Coliseum by at least a month.
