What a great win. Not so much for this season because at 9-8, SMU has a long way to go on the court and in the power ratings to even creep into NIT consideration. Still, this is big for the confidence of Isham, Hop, Castro and Simpson. Those guys will be together for the next 2 seasons too and the sooner they establish the ability to win big games the better. Very happy for Q, the man has been a warrior and suffered through more than his share of heartbreak losses. This team could have, and probably should have folded in OT but didn't. They all deserve alot of credit. Interested to hear if Q really fouled Parker on that 3 pointer. I gotta say that the series of marginal calls the refs made seems inexcusable. The loose ball foul on Hopkins with 8 secs left in OT is a call that is just not made in that situation.
