This game is all about limiting boat's effectiveness. He will get his points but if you force him into tough shots so he has a low percentage we will win. Uconn can't handle our inside game so their only chance is for their best player to have a rediculous night (of which he is very capable at home).

Memphis cannot conquer SMU, loses its last big chance for a statement win.

The Tigers had the Ponies on their home floor, and they couldn't even come close to winning. A 66-57 loss to SMU drops Memphis to 17-11 in a season that's headed toward the NIT and something of a forgotten year.

It didn't help that Kedren Johnson fouled out with more than 18 minutes remaining in the game, in part because he was assessed a technical/fifth foul.

SMU is now 23-5, and although the American isn't stout, this team could get a No. 3 seed if it wins out.

Brimah is a good defensive big, but he is prone to picking up quick fouls. We need YM to go right at him and draw 2 quick ones.

I'm concerned about our energy. We never really woke up against Memphis (except Sterling who never sleeps and Nic in the last few minutes).

We need to come out high energy.
