I know no one is thinking about Mr. Mudiay right now as we prepare for a conference championship bout, but for those interested, Sports Illustrated had the following write-up today and video:

His team lost to Stephon Marbury's in the playoffs.

In 11 games with the Tigers, Mudiay has recorded 18.3 points, 5.7 assists and 6.2 rebounds per game with 52.9 percent shooting from the field.

Safe to say he's the real deal. Damn....he'd really be the connector piece too. Oh well, would've been fun to see the team with him but more will be coming I'm sure, at least in the foreseeable future.

Mudiay is a player that comes around once every 5 years. He'll be special in the nba

You can see from those highlights how much he would have benefitted from Coach Larry Brown. It's a shame he didn't use this year to improve his game.. I don't blame him for choosing money though

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Mudiay go pro because of foreseen eligibility issues? Had he signed, he was at risk of sitting out for a year. To guarantee playing time (and make some money), he opted to go pro.

I don't think eligibility concerns were related to grades...moreso his "amateur" status due to relationship with UnderArmour, or something like that? Real deal

LB still answering the "what if" question:

"If we had him right now, we'd be ranked one, two or three in the country,” Brown said, according to Ford.

We'd also probably have some sort of postseason ban.
