give me any of the top college games over any of the top NBA games any day. NBA is just flat out boring.

I don't necessarily disagree with any of his points and yet I find myself to be a massive college basketball fan that could care less about the NBA.

I didn't read it, but if I owned a team I would agree

I have been a basketball fan all of my life and I still can't watch a complete NBA game unless
it is in the championship round of the playoffs. The Pro game is very boring and very few of
the teams play solid defense. Now when I watch, I tune in for the last 10 minutes of the game
because that's when the intensity picks up.

I love the college game. I do agree that I would like to see a faster paced game. I loved
Nolan Richardson's 40 minutes of hell style - press all over the floor and run and shoot.
I love Larry Brown's coaching, and it is a winning style. I just happen to like run and gun
better, especially if defense is also a major component. My high school coach in Rockford
Illinois always said that if we could take 50 - 75 shots a game, we would win.

I agree with Cuban in that they should accelerate the pace and cut that damn shot clock down to 24 and make it 48 mins. High scoring basketball is always fun.

In the college game there is too much of a disparity in defensive strength to cut the shot clock to 24 seconds unless you like to see tons of shot clock violations. 28-30 seconds is the sweet spot

One could also argue that the NBA should allow players to start playing basketball - no traveling, allowing a little bit of physical play on defense. A lot of college players actually struggle with the transition to the NBA because college is less of an isolation offense. the isolation offense is what is horrible to watch.

I can't watch the NBA unless it's the playoffs (which I watch every year).

Cutting the shot clock to 30 seconds would help the college game IMO.

If I own a pro team, I hate college ball. He's not lamenting it from a fan standpoint as much as a developmental one. AAU and the NBA are direct parallels, college ball is a coaches game

I understand his point and like Hoopmanx said, if I owned a NBA team I would say the same.
Having said that, it seems it is hard for a player to develop on the college level if he is a one and done player.
I also dislike the NBA game because it has become a league of individual players and not a team game. There are exceptions, the Spurs and a couple of others. I believe most of the professional leagues have become very sterile. Just my opinion
