30 for 30-Sole Man

Great 30 for 30 episode on the career of Sonny Vaccaro and the shoe wars in college basketball. It has two short interviews with Larry Brown with the caption Head Coach-SMU. We are so fortunate to have him here.

Need to check that out. The ultimate one man Rivals/AAU/Shoe guy all in one stop. I think I remember seeing something on him for a 60 minutes segment.

Sonny spoke at an APSM event at SMU back in 2013. He was very passionate about the subject of Student Athletes' Rights. About 75-100 people were in attendance. I remember seeing June there, but I do not remember if Larry was there. None the less, it was an interesting talk. The documentary was excellent as well.

I've met Sonny a bunch of times and he's certainly nothing if not polarizing. At his core, he's always been about players rights, even while creating the current summer grassroots monster

Great 30 for 30. I personally can sit there and listen to Sonny for hours. I think my first post was on PF was after one of my run-ins with him. His wife Pam is a crazy nice lady too, it's easy to see why he has players trust. I'm a fan of him, he's certainly polarizing and he's created a hell of a problem. Sonny knows people though and he's always been about the players.
