Wow, Anthony Davis is the future. Give me one player to start a team with, he's my man.

I'm surprised by this Bulls/Bucks game. Very entertaining. Milwaukee has a young, talented team.

When you pay Keith Van Horn part 2 $16 million a year you get what the Mav's have, mediocrity.

I hate to say it, but it's time to reboot. It's been a great 15-year run - I'm willing to put up with 2-4 seasons of awful basketball to get a new franchise player and get back in the hunt.

The toughest thing to admit is that Dirk is done. He's missed shots in this series he would've made in his sleep several years ago, and his defense is embarrassing. He needs to be a reserve moving forward.

I hate the way Donnie puts together his teams. He has no interest in the draft and that kills me. His attempt to clear cap room for the big fish has failed several years in a row and then he was forced to piece together a team with ill-fitting parts. And he grossly overpaid for Parsons. Cubes need to make a move on the GM but he won't.

Wow! I can't believe it has been 18 years since Washington changed its name to the Wiz. That makes me feel old. I liked Washington's ABA name the Capitals, which the hockey team later took. I know I've mentioned this before but if you like NBA basketball read Loose Balls. It is the entertaining story of the ABA. A couple of guys with SMU ties are huge players in this book - LB and Max Williams. A great read.

I'm less critical of Donnie than you because they've pulled off some masterful deals over the years (e.g., both trades for Tyson), but their complete disdain for the draft has been discouraging. Agree you can stick a fork in Dirk. They have no building blocks right now, even though they are paying Parsons like one

Yep, gotta draft. Hard to think the last Mav draftee who worked well?
