I've heard a few posters state that Carter is skinny (there are some old pictures on the recruiting sites where he is thin) but not in this 2015 video where he has about 3 dunks. In fact, I think his body may be a bit soft with some baby fat. Doubt he's 6-9 but he does have some bulk including in upper body. If I had to guess I think he's more like 220-225 rather than he 210 listed by recruiting services. He's going to end up being a pretty thick inside kid. Definitely different build than B. Moore. He's No. 00 in white in the video

This is a great get. Since LB and staff offered he has been a top priority.

You're completely right. I've seen him twice and he can easily play in the 240 range by the time he's through. Even when I saw him, he had the frame. He's also not 6'9 at all, unless he's truly grown taller. Maybe a big 6'7. He's definitely put on some meat, after watching those videos. He was spindly compared to that when I saw him, wow. He also had more bounce when I saw him.

Hoop: will he be able to play immediately or do you think he could get redshirted?

I think you have to play him, if just for foul depth until Semi becomes eligible. Tolbert/Markus/Ben/Semi/Carter is a legit 5 deep. One of the better front lines in the country behind Maryland and a few others right now

It actually works out pretty well, because he will get some time in non-conference when we are blowing teams out, then Semi comes in when it is time to get serious and Simeon's minutes were going to get reduced at that point anyway. It isn't an even swap though, because Semi and Ben will play more from the perimeter, and this guy is I think going to be more of a banger like Tolbert and Markus.

This is great news. . .at the very least b/c it was no secret that he was a top priority of LB, and we got him. So much for the "mushroom cloud". Excited to see Carter as a Mustang.
