Also I wouldn't bring up this one bad year compared to all the other years we were in the tourney. I mean Florida and Michigan were just as bad as we were this year. Memphis was hurt by not having a PG run the team on the floor. Nobody expected Kedren to be that out of shape. Now that we have Kedren in shape and Ricky Tarrant as Sr. PGs I feel better about the flow of our offense.
[deleted] Memphis. You could beat us 100-0 for the next 100 years and I STILL went to SMU and you went to Tiger high. Sports is a nice, fun extra. Life is more important.
I'm not sure I understand the animosity? Y'all understandably disagree on the trajectory of Memphis' program but I'm not sure that means we start hoping for Tiger J to die in a tire fire.

Ominous statement from prior Vick commitment story-damn those earthquakes!!!:
Hurd said Vick is firmly committed, adding, “It would have to be an earthquake or something†for him to decommit.
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

I heard a few days ago we were really close on Suilemon but that's been refuted by the highest of sources, so I really don't know what to believe. IF no Keith, which seems probable, he's exactly what we need as to not rush Shake/Sed. Ben E is the wildcard, lots to prove after last year

There was a small earthquake earlier this spring in the Memphis area (New Madrid fault).

Best of luck to him. I was excited to have him commit to SMU, things change. Time to move on and get the next one. Coach Brown and Co. will work hard to do that I am sure.
