Utah Jazz working out Yanick

Postby sjackson » Fri Jun 05, 2015 3:30 pm

"Jody Genessy: Friday's Jazz pre-draft workout: Phil Greene IV, Aaron Harrison, Trevor Lacey, Yanick Moreira, Jaleel Roberts and Dez Wells. Twitter @DJJazzyJody"

First I've read of any of our departing seniors, in relation to the NBA draft...hope he and Cannen get a look in the 2nd round. I would think Ryan could play overseas...

Cannen will get invited somewhere due to his range. His game seems more a fit for Europe, though.

Yanick also worked out for the Celtics, and I think Philly in the last week.

I know you're probably talking ability, but his style is very Euro. Gonna miss Cannen.

I was referring to style. I'll leave it at that. He's not a banger, nor should he be. He has a quality outside game that is going to make him a lot of money. Dude's gonna be fine, and we will all miss him. CC was a really good player for four years for us.

Yanick is the much better prospect of the two. He may actually get a crack at the NBA, don't know if he gets drafted but should get picked up. He has pretty good mobility and shown flashes. LB didn't adhere to many of his strengths during his time.
