You could tell he was tired in the OT and double ot. But did come up with that huge huge steal and foul.
USA was down 2, I think Mason hit a 3, Nic stole the inbound got fouled and hit the 2 free throws to be up 3.

USA scored the final 9 of the game to win by 7

I think it is great Nic was a big part of the championship. It's just another reason he's one of the greatest Mustangs of all-time. Now, get Nic on a plane back to Dallas and moving forward, screw KU.

And tell him to bring Vick with him!

KU fans are about 50/50 on Nic, kinda an interesting study. They most all admit hey needed him for the tourney, but his play frustrated them, especially the turnovers.

It is interesting, but what KU fans think of Nic really doesn't matter (which I know you agree with). Given some of Nic's struggles shooting I've had to be a little more neutral on KU boards, but nobody can deny that he came up big on several occasions. Agree (in part) with LA, let's get Nic back to Dallas and make the most of the summer.

As a KU fan I want to say Nic was terrific and thanks to Coach Brown and the SMU family for letting Nic play for the USA team. I wish Nic and the rest of the Pony players, coaches, and fans the best of luck this upcoming season. Rock Chalk!

He bet on TCU and doesn't want them to cover the spread.

I had to tweet @espn because the watchespn link for the replay went to some Shaq documentary versus the game.

I think this was a great experience for Nic. I'd attribute some of his struggles for having to learn a new system and how to play with all the KU guys on the fly in a matter of weeks. Very glad he got a gold medal (and didnt get hurt!)
