Five Selected For The 2015 Global Sports Academy Goodwill Tour
Tour Is August 6-14; Includes Games In Belgium, England and the Netherlands

July 6, 2015

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (SMU) --- The Global Sports Academy named Ben Moore, Sterling Brown, Semi Ojeleye and Ben Emelogu to its U.S. teams for the 2015 Men’s Basketball Goodwill Tour. Jay Duncan, SMU’s Director of Operations, is the head coach for the roster that includes Ojeleye and Emelogu. The tour is August 6-14 with games in Belgium, England and the Netherlands. The goal of the GSA is “education, good will and sportsmanship through sports.”

Brown, Moore and Emelogu helped the Mustangs to a 27-7 record as they captured the AAC regular-season and conference tournament titles en route to the NCAA Tournament. The Mustangs spent nine weeks in the AP and USA Today Top 25, finishing the season No. 18 in the AP and receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll. All three will be juniors in 2015-16. Ojeleye, a Duke transfer, will also be a junior when he suits up for SMU this season.

Last season, Brown played all 34 games with 17 starts. He averaged 5.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists. Moore started 30 of 34 games, averaging 7.1 points, 4.7 rebound, 1.9 assists and 0.9 blocks. Emelogu played all 34 games, adding 2.8 points and 1.8 rebounds in 15.2 minutes.

Brown and Moore are representing SMU on Global Sports Academy Goodwill Tour for the second straight year. They were part of the 2014 tour that included games in Belgium, England, Germany and the Netherlands.
