Nevada is tough. Even though SMU is the #2 seed, I think we should be underdogs in a matchup with Nevada. They dominated the Mustangs in Reno, but the game in Dallas was very close.

I don't like playing Nevada at all...they will easily beat us if we don't play better than we did today. Q can only do so much.

Yeah, Nevada's Snyder pretty much cancels out Q. Snyder is strong and active. Q ends up guarding him by default alot too, which takes alot of energy. Hopkins has to outplay the Okeson kid and Simpson and/or Castro have to have good to great games. Simpson has played in spurts, had a good first half today, but SMU needs 40 minutes from him to be a real threat.

Tech woke up just a little too late. After falling behind by 18 they made a furious rally, and Nevada floundered at the free throw line, but it came too late for the Bulldogs to make it all the way back. Michael Wilder hit a 3 at the buzzer to make the final score 72-66, but that was as close as they ever got. SMU plays Nevada tomorrow.
