We have to clearly state who told the secretary what to do.Right now, SMU has made no statement around internal findings revolving around who told the secretary what to do.
Until we make a very clear statement on that, Brown is going to be thrown under the bus. When there is an unknown, people make the most negative assumption possible. It seems like we thought it was Malagi who arranged the whole thing. We need to state that publically if true. Transparency is of upmost importance if you are going to regain trust of the public, donors, the press, and the SMU community.
Re: We have to clearly state who told the secretary what toSuppose it was not Maligi? Sometimes it is better to keep quiet and have them not really know than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Re: We have to clearly state who told the secretary what toWhat if no one told her what to do?
Re: We have to clearly state who told the secretary what toWhy would we do that?
Right now she's the rogue actor. There's nothing else out there that says someone told her to act. You usually don't win an appeal on trying to re-litigate what has already been determined. You usually win it on punching holes in the process of making the original case. Hence Larry discussing multiple times he didn't lie to investigators, he was thrown by the question and answered in the same interview session. Process, procedures, technicalities.
Re: We have to clearly state who told the secretary what toWho gave the order for the code red?!!!!

Re: We have to clearly state who told the secretary what toYou want answers?
Re: We have to clearly state who told the secretary what toTransparency. Because even if we get off the hook on a technicality, we will lose in the court of public opinion. Being very clear of who the culprit is, or if all of our investigation indicates she was a lone wolf, we need to come public with that. Otherwise we just look like we are hiding something, and people are going to refrain from being involved with the program because they are waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Re: We have to clearly state who told the secretary what toYou win your appeal at the NCAA appeals committee. Not in the court of public opinion.
I hope we don't waste time trying the case in the press, because that's a dicey proposition.

DID YOU ORDER THE CODE RED?!!!! "We will play man to man and we will pick you up at the airport." - Larry Brown

Re: We have to clearly state who told the secretary what toBrown said the violation was an isolated incident and that no member of his staff instructed the administrative assistant to assist Frazier in the class.

Re: We have to clearly state who told the secretary what toLet's put this thread to rest now. Just saw on channel 8 where Coach Brown told Brett Shipp that the assistant acted on her own.

Why? That's like saying the Patriots ball boys acted on their own. Defies all logic.
