Have heard conflicting accounts. Is he eligible for this next year or not?

I'm not sure that Keith Frazier was really worth it for the few minutes of great play against Cincy a couple years ago. He's kind of like all of the SMU guys who now have herpes as a result of that one unfortunate encounter in college - were the five minutes really worth it?

The [deleted] thing is the players didn't want food or drinks as that's against NCAA regs

After a rough freshman year he could have bailed and gone to school where the coach would let him jack up shots every time down court. Instead he stayed and worked [deleted] his defense.

After eligibility problems last year he could have bailed and gone JUCO, tried the D League, or looked for opportunities overseas. Instead he stayed and worked [deleted] his grades.

He's shown a lot more maturity and character than I had at his age. Regardless of what happened to get him here, he's earned our respect and support.

He remains among my top two or three players. He hasn't had a bunch of breaks in life, other than having a gift for basketball and getting LB as his coach.

The worst part of that NCAA's report is the reference to babysitting. Really? We are going to slam someone for helping out a single parent who is actually taking responsibility for his child?? They can bite me on that one.

Apparently you can't say "worked #@rd" on this board.

More likely the problem was using the words "hard" and "on" close together. 8)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
