If the mods want to move this elsewhere, that's fine but I wanted to share with you a link to a new AAC message board that popped up. It has a more positive slant than some of the other conference boards do. It would be great if we can get some league chatter going there between fans of all our teams. Http://AACmessageboard.com

Nope. Saw the environment there and got turned off immediately. This is coming from the guy who posts on the UNT message board unironically.

I'm surprised to hear that as there's only like 25 posters so far and probably 23 have been pro-SMU. No hard feelings; to each his own. If anyone else wants to visit we would welcome you. Http://AACmessageboard.com

"Justice has been served to a dirty program with a dirty coach"
"Frankly, knowing that they cheated it would be nice if SMU simply took their punishment and moved on without appealing"
"Best line of the audio. 'Larry Brown treats compliance the way Allen Iverson treats practice. Compliance? We talking about Compliance?'"
"Brown's a cheater and has always been a cheater. Enough of the sob story for 'the kids'."
"Raise your hand if you are surprised by this?"
Yeah, F no.

Lot of positivity in those statements

One line that made me chuckle on the established message board, was last week even before this latest mess, Pony94 had posted the story about the AAC possibly moving their offices to Dallas..
First reply from a Cincy fan said something like ......
"That would probably be a good idea, that way the league office can keep an eye on SMU since you guys like to cheat so much"....
What can you do but laugh.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

If we go down, the conference goes down also. If I were them I would not be happy for the conference after this.

The Uconn message board has been very sympathetic towards SMU, for the most part. This unites the common hatred for the NCAA. Most Uconn fans feel SMU being relevant is good for them and the AAC. Of course, there are some posters who feel we got what we deserved.

I noticed that as well.. while we may be the poster child for NCAA violations there are any number of schools with an axe to grind with them. Getting all of them together in a suit might be fun.

A couple of funny comments from the Uconn board:
"Do SMU's lost scholarships go to Kentucky?"
"Larry Brown is a Tar Heel, So UNC has been punished"

yeah, thanks, but no. you seem to be on the anti-SMU bandwagon over there. we don't need to see people kicking us when we're down. we already have posters on here that like to do that. good luck with your future endeavors.
