Louisville allegations come at a perfect time for SMUThis takes a lot of the attention away from the what went on this week with the hoops team. I would say thank you Louisville but that would not be nice.

Re: Louisville allegations come at a perfect time for SMUAnalyst implied that Petino's denial of knowledge was more believable than Brown and Boeheim because, and I'm paraphrasing, it's a college campus and there are always girls around. How are you supposed to know if they're escorts?
Re: Louisville allegations come at a perfect time for SMUgross-Louisville girls must be ugly-you'd think a stud Basketball player wouldn't have to rely on escorts. Are these guys Beta Men? Definitely not Chads

Re: Louisville allegations come at a perfect time for SMUHey Rick. We have computers all over campus. How are we supposed to know one is being used to do an unauthorized illegal HS course?
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Louisville allegations come at a perfect time for SMUsounds like the ultimate form of "gaining a competitive advantage". Over 5 years? That's five recruiting classes, and lots of competitive advantage gained. Sounds like a 5 year post season ban would be logical and proportional. You HAVE to assume that Pitino knew and was fully involved right? Lack of atmosphere of compliance...x5. Assuming this former coach will be offered immunity by the NCAA for his testimony right? Phone records on the way? Maybe we can take their spot in the ACC.
Re: Louisville allegations come at a perfect time for SMUif they vacate Louisville's 2013-14 season like they did ours, who wins? I know we played on March 5, 2014, i was there. Did Keith play? I don't think so. Or if he did, their ill-gotten band of recruits played 50 times more minutes than Keith. So we should win. Then we wouldn't have been snubbed by the committee either in retrospect. NCAA owes us money and an apology. Fine 'em.

Re: Louisville allegations come at a perfect time for SMUHead coach responsible for all these days right?
Re: Louisville allegations come at a perfect time for SMUJeff Goodman on Van Pelt show says Pitino may not have known what was going on since he is 60 years old and not as hands on as he used to be. Called it plausible deniability. Nobody in the media seemed to be giving LB any allowances but it is far more plausible that a lead recruiter such as Maligi whose job it is to close deals could have acted alone, but sorry Louisville, Directors of BBball Ops do not act alone and with discretion on recruiting.
Re: Louisville allegations come at a perfect time for SMUPitino is a scuz. Of course he knew. It seems like something he would actually participate in.
