Lady Ponies off to an early 11 - 0 lead...

at the 16:32 mark. Wow!!
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

36 - 24 Fresno at the half...except for the first few minutes, we have played them pretty even. That early 11 point lead is going to be hard to over come I fear.

36-24 @ the half. FSU had a descend run in the last 10 minutes of the first half.

SMU has committed plenty of turnovers.

Looks like our Cinderella run is over. 55-35 with just under 12 minutes to play.

81 - 67 Final. SMU was down at one point by 20 points...they put up a fight at the end, but it wasn't enough.

Considering all the injuries the women's team has had this year, they did a good job getting as far as they did in the tourney.

Nice job girls...I'm looking forward to next year.

Kudos to Rhonda. She did a great job with a banged up team.

Question: Is Kaci Alexander coming back next year? Or is she graduating?

Kaci graduates.

The ladies started there rally too late, they made it close, but then forced some bad shots, and had to foul to stop the clock. Oh well, I'm glad they salvaged some pride at the end of the season.

The official roster shows Kaci to be a senior and has lettered 3 years, so I would think she is finished unless she has a fifth year coming due to a redshirt year. PX would probably know the real answer to your question.

See, I was right. He answered it while I was trying to type my post.
