I got the email to confirm my mailing address today, and I didn't even get excited. :?

Hopefully, things will turn around by November for all of us.

I wasn't either. Dig in for the long haul. Hopefully we can get some recruiting momentum back.

Sht.... give me an offer that is something reasonable and I might bite. I attempted to get tickets this year and was unsuccessful.

Give it 2 weeks and start putting your word in for season tickets next year.

I got a call from the ticket office this morning that they have a limited number of season tickets available. You should give them a call and see what they have left.

If we don't appeal the postseason ban, our season tickets are going to be worth about $5/game on stubhub. Best player attrition + no postseason hopes = the casual fan not dying to come to Moody for the epic SMU (banned) vs. USF matchup.

Wonder if the TV listing will say something like Michigan (RV/25) at SMU (BANNED/BANNED)

I would hope the SMU community rallies around the team when/if we decide to not appeal and play out the season with no NCAA bid on the line.
I also realize that if MK, NM leave then that sucks even more and Moody could be not as wild. We'll find out soon enough.

I'm still excited. College basketball season is my favorite season and SMU is my alma mater. It'll take a lot more than the NCAA to kill my buzz.

I'll probably be drinking heavily come Selection Sunday however.

I'm almost more worried about the effect losing our seniors has on the fan base than on the team. We could really come out of this looking terrible as fans if moody reverts to the morgue.

I am concerned about the effect on the casual fan and student section.

Id be eagerly watching if we lost our seniors because thats a great sneak preview of next years team.
